We strive to promote safety, collaborate with regulators, develop best practices, hold events, update members with news and information, develop training courses, represent members on environmental issues.
We representation the seismic sector in Canada, lobbying with government agencies and other groups to promote sustainable environmental resource exploration through respectful seismic operations and technology.

Our initiatives cover a wide range of areas, including safety, regulations, environmental policies, and community engagement. We have 2 seats on 3 different Advisory Committees to Energy Safety Canada, 1 for each of the 3 Western provinces.
They meet quarterly in-person and virtually for 2 to 3 hours.

Join Drops Canada, the Canadian charter of a global organization, which is facilitated by Energy Safety Canada. Link here Energy Safety Canada - ESC
Best Practices, Courses and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) present on equipment and processes to mitigate incidents.
Drops programs are being instituted by many of the major Energy companies due to the hazards associated with dropped objects from height that cause serious injuries or fatalitities.
Unlimited virtual attendance or in-person in Regina, currently we have 3 or 4 attendees.
Environmental conservation is a top priority for us. We actively support and engage in initiatives focused on minimizing environmental impact, promoting biodiversity, and ensuring responsible resource exploration and development.

Quarterly meetings.
Administrators & WorksafeBC
BC Forest service, Wildfire BC & CAGC meet with senior policy experts and inspectors from WorksafeBC to align programs, discuss incidents and refine the faller standard and training materials.
Fallers, once certified, can move between sectors, which is important as each sector is seasonally challenged.
Meetings are quarterly, preferred in-person at the Petroleum Club with a virtual option available. Also Executive Summit in the Spring.

This group spearheads the development of Industry Safety Standards. (e.g. CSO, LSRs) with other Energy Associations facilitated by the CEO of Energy Safety Canada.
